What the heck happened to summer? I swear the planet is spinning faster.

THANK YOU so much to everyone who came to hear us at The Harmony Bar this past August 16th. We had a lot of fun at that gig and were so happy to see a full room. We're also very grateful to Michelle Renee Quinn for having Stefan and me on her Channel 3000 show and for making our song “Hear Me” her artist pick of the week! She was just as lovely as can be. The Marisa Balistreri Trio featuring Stefan Hall and Steve Lewis make our debut at Old Firehouse Lounge this Friday, Sept 4th from 6-8 PM. The owner, Morgann, is as nice as can be and her bar has one of the coolest vibes in the area. She even says that a ghost named Lucas lives in the basement! Stefan and I also have a private event on Sept. 2nd.

Promoting our album New Monsters has been a lot of work, but we've had some success. Our song “Hear Me” was selected to be played on Bruno Pollacci's podcast AnimaJazz and Punto Radio Cascina near Parma, Italy. There are some very interesting and diverse jazz groups on his show. You can listen to it here.

I've been pretty lazy about booking gigs and updating our website, but I should have more time later this month to get on it! Stay tuned!
